Oral history interview with Millie Moser Smith, 21 Feb. 2003.

Moser Smith describes her experiences growing up in Iowa, her subsequent move to California, her marriages and family, and her work with the National Farm Workers Ministry. As a member of Church Women United as well as an active participant in social welfare programs including Habitat for Humanity, Moser Smith became active in Cesar Chavez's United Farm Workers movement, journeying to his headquarters in Delano, California and informing church groups in the Pomona and San Gabriel Valleys of their struggles. Moser Smith describes her views on community living, her marriage to Syndey Smith, and her move into the religiouos community at Pilgrim Place in Claremont, California.
